About these terms
These terms apply when you use orvetta.com or the ORVETTA apps, create an account, or enter a prize draw. ORVETTA is operated by [not set] (company number [not set]), registered office [not set] ("ORVETTA", "we", "us").
Each draw also has its own published details (prize, entry price, maximum entries, closing time, draw time and any draw-specific rules). Our Draw rules and Free entry rules form part of these terms. If a draw's published details conflict with these terms, the draw's details apply to that draw.
Who can take part
- You must be 18 or over and live in the United Kingdom.
- You need an ORVETTA account, with a verified email address, to enter.
- ORVETTA staff, our contractors who run draws, and members of their households cannot enter.
- One account per person. We may close duplicate accounts.
- You must not take part while a pause, suspension or closure you chose is in place.
How a draw works
- Each draw shows its prize, entry price, the maximum number of entries, the maximum each person can hold, the closing time and the draw time before you enter.
- You can enter by paying online, or for free by post (see the Free entry rules). Every valid entry, paid or free, has the same chance of winning.
- Each valid entry receives a unique entry number and reference.
- When a draw closes, we freeze the list of valid entries and publish it.
- The winning entry is chosen by the published, verifiable process described in the Draw rules. Prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance.
- We do not change the prize, cancel a draw or move its closing date because of low entries.
Paying for entries
- The total price is shown before you pay. Prices include any VAT that applies.
- Your entries are issued only when your payment provider confirms the payment. If a payment completes after entries are no longer available, we refund it in full.
- We may refuse a payment method for a draw. In particular, credit cards are not accepted for instant win draws, and credit card payments are limited to £250 in any 30 days.
- Spending limits you set, and the platform limit of £500 in any 30 days, apply to every order.
Winners and prizes
- We contact winners using the details in their account and ask for proof of identity and age. We will not ask you to pay anything to receive a prize.
- If a winner cannot be verified as eligible, or does not respond within 28 days of our first contact, the prize may be forfeited under the Draw rules.
- Where a cash alternative is published, the winner may choose it instead of the prize.
- We only publish a winner's name, region, photo, video or comments if the winner agrees to each one.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can lower your spending limit at any time; it applies straight away. A higher limit takes effect after a cooling-off period.
- You can take a break, suspend your account for 6 months or more, or close it. See our Responsible participation policy.
Refunds and cancellations
Our Refund policy explains when refunds are given. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including your rights with your card provider.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Complaints and changes
If something goes wrong, please tell us: see our Complaints policy. We may update these terms. We will not change the terms of a draw after its first entry except where the law or a regulator requires it, and we will tell everyone who entered.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or of the part of the UK where you live.
