Every draw has a free route
You can enter any ORVETTA draw without paying. A free entry has exactly the same chance as a paid one: it goes into the same pool and receives the next number in the same sequence.
How to enter by post
Send a letter or postcard by ordinary first or second class post to:
[not set]
Include, written clearly:
- your full name;
- the email address of your ORVETTA account (create one for free first; if you do not have one, we can set one up for you);
- your postal address and postcode;
- your date of birth;
- the name of the prize you want to enter.
Rules
- One entry per envelope or postcard. Each envelope that meets these rules gives one entry.
- Your entry must arrive by the draw's closing time. Entries that arrive later are not valid. We recommend posting at least 5 working days before the closing time.
- Entries that arrive before a draw opens are not valid.
- The per-person maximum for the draw includes free entries.
- Where a draw counts free entries towards its maximum number of entries and the maximum is reached, later free entries for that draw cannot be added.
- Entries must be legible and complete. We do not accept bulk or mechanically reproduced entries.
- You must meet the eligibility rules in our Terms. You cannot enter while a pause, suspension or closure you chose is in place.
What we do with your entry
- We record the date your entry arrived and check it against these rules.
- If it is valid, we issue an entry number and email you with it.
- If it is not valid, we email you the reason.
- We decide every entry that arrived before the closing time before we freeze the pool. A free entry is never left out because it was free.
Online free entry
Some draws may also offer free entry online. Where they do, the draw page says so.
