Our approach
ORVETTA prize draws should be fun and affordable. Only spend money you can afford to lose on entries, and never borrow to enter. These tools are in your account under Spending controls and Responsible participation.
Rules that apply to everyone
- You must be 18 or over.
- Everyone has a platform spending limit of £500 in any 30 days. You can set a lower limit.
- Credit card payments are limited to £250 in any 30 days, and are not accepted for instant win draws.
- We never offer credit, bonuses for spending more, or rewards for entering more often.
Spending limits
You can set a daily, weekly and monthly limit. Each one covers a rolling period, for example the last 7 days for a weekly limit.
- A lower limit applies straight away.
- A higher limit applies after a cooling-off period of 24 hours. To cancel the increase during that time, choose your current limit again.
Take a break
You can pause your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During a break you cannot enter draws. Your break cannot be shortened.
Suspend your account
You can suspend your account for 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 5 years. A suspension cannot be shortened. When it ends, your account stays closed until you ask to return. You can then use your account again after a further 7 days.
Close your account
You can close your account permanently. If you change your mind, our team can only reopen it after 6 months, and only if you ask.
What happens to your entries
When a break, suspension or closure starts, we withdraw your entries in draws whose entry list has not been frozen yet, and refund what you paid for them. Free entries in those draws are withdrawn too. Entries in draws whose entry list is already frozen stay in those draws.
How we look out for you
We look for signs that someone may be spending more than they can afford, such as reaching a limit again and again or many failed payments. If we see them, we may contact you, lower your limits, or pause your account. We always tell you why.
